"Alright, if I had a candle I would light it!"

November 27th, 1963: Ringo caught in a moment of repose during the filming of People and Places. Although he had visually assimilated into the group, it took considerable time for him to settle fully into the band, given that the other three had been together as a unit for more than four years prior to his arrival. Nonetheless, as possibly the luckiest man alive, Ringo took it all in stride. Despite his turn in fortunes, Ringo wasn’t convinced of the longevity of the group’s success, and early on he set some of his earnings aside in the hopes of setting up a small business of his own one day.
Ringo: "I’ve always fancied having a ladies hairdressing salon. A string of them! Strut around in me stripes and tails, you know: ‘Like a cup of tea, Madam?’"
